DAY 1 / ARRIVAL & MEETING - Transfer from Airport + Frutillar

Your driverguide will be at the Airport El Tepual in Puerto Montt to pick you up according to the informed flight number (AM Flight recommended). Upon arrival to your hotel in Puerto Varas, you can leave your luggage in the storage and continue the journey.
Leaving Puerto Varas we will take the Panamerican highway (Route 5) for 10 minutes to reach the town of Llanquihue located in front of the Lake. Here will stop in the coastal to enjoy wooden sculptures and the unique "Lago LLanquihue" letters built in the water.

30 minutes later and after a ride along the coastal route Frutillar is waiting for you. This is one of the most influenced european heritage from a germanic settlement.

A soft walk in the local Museum is perfect to recognize the local history of farmers and lumberjacks that forged the area. Then, time at leisure to see handcraft markets and more.

We will return to Puerto Varas by Route 5.

DAY 2 / DAY TOUR Petrohue Falls & Emerald Lake

At time agreed with your guide (09:00 am recommended), we will drive 1 hour in direction to the oldest National Park of Chile to visit the Rapids of the Petrohue River. in the middle an stop over is included to take pictures of Osorno Volcano. Once we arrive, will walk by paths (easy-medium level) to admire the emerald colors of the river and nature that is envolving the place.
Then, and less than 10 minutes ahead is the Emerald or All Saints Lake. A georgeus lake in middle of mountains and in the slope of the Osorno Volcano. Luch time in a local Restaurant in Ensenada is perfect to take a relaxed break.

DAY 3 / DAY TOUR Chiloe Island Penguins or Churches

Early departure in the morning by 08:00 is perfect to enjoy the day. Just one our from Puerto Varas and driving in the panamerican highway we will board the ferry crossing the canal to get the litthe town of Cachao (we are in Chiloé!)


OPTION 1 - COAST OF PENGUINS FROM OCTOBER TO MARCH

From Chacao we take a gravel road to find Caulín, a beutiful coast side to see some country life and to do birdwatching.

Now we go to Puñihuil. Its necessary to go through the City of Ancud, a place that we will visit to finish the tour. From Ancud, just half an hour west is our destination.

Once there, sailing for 30 minutes around small rockie islands, will gives the opportunity to see the marine wild life in action. Magellan and Humboldt Penguins, cormorants, sealions and more!

We set time and place for lunch, that can be in the place to try local seafood and fish.

Getting back to Ancud, we will stop in the spaniard battery, and local market.

VERY IMPORTANT: Sailing experience could be cancel in last minute due weather conditions.


OPTION 2 - COAST OF CHURCHES ALL YEAR ROUND (10 hours app)

From Chacao we go straight to Quemchi, small fishermen town perfect to do the stop over and relax in front of sea.
From there we will start our visit to the UNESCO HERITAGE CHURCHES. Colo and Tenaún they will be also part of this tour, both places looks like lost in time to makes you feel unplugged from civilization.

Not before stop in Dalcahue for its church and market (late lunch here). Finally, Castro is waiting to share the largest and colorfull church.

VERY IMPORTANT: Seeing the inside of some churches could not be possible depending the locals and their caretakers.



DAY 4 / GOOD BYE Transfer from Hotel in Puerto Varas to Airport. (30 minutes)

02 hours before your flight departure, we pick up up to take you to the Airport El Tepual.
